Activities of CII Trichy
Trichy Zone of CII is having 45 members drawn from Public & Private Sectors, which include large, medium & small scale industries.The main activities are - organizing Interactive Sessions with Government Officials such as Bank Officials, Provident Fund Commissioner, Central Excise & Customs Dept., Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), TamilNadu Electricity Board (TNEB), District Industries Centre (DIC), Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories, Deputy Commissioner of Labor Dept., General Manager of Telecommunications Dept., Pollution Control Board etc.,
Other activities are conducting Training Programmes periodically for the benefit of the members such as Quality, Technical Seminars, Internet, Safety, Energy Conservation, HRD, etc.,

Most of the members are in the field of Fabrication, manufacturers of Boilers, Cement, Chemicals, Garment, Electrical Metes, Foundry, Electronics. Defense Organizations are also members of CII.
